TripCent🦀 Short version: TripCent doesn't collect any of your data. Your trips, expenses and crew stay on your iPhone and in your own private iCloud account. We can't see them, and we never sell, share or track anything.
What the app stores
TripCent stores the information you enter: trips, expenses, payments, crew member names and optional photos (trip covers, avatars and receipts), categories and app settings. This data is saved on your device.
iCloud sync
If you're signed in to iCloud, TripCent syncs your data through Apple's CloudKit to your private iCloud database, so it appears on your other devices. This database belongs to your Apple Account and only you can access it. The developer has no access to it. Apple's handling of iCloud data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy. You can turn off iCloud for TripCent at any time in the iOS Settings app.
What we don't do
- No accounts or sign-up
- No analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs
- No selling or sharing of data with anyone
- No collection of your location, contacts or identifiers
Camera and photos
The camera is only used when you choose to take a photo of a receipt, trip cover or avatar, and only after you grant permission. Photos you pick from your library are copied into the app, and TripCent doesn't read the rest of your library.
Sharing
When you use "Share summary" or "Export CSV", you choose where that content goes through the standard iOS share sheet. TripCent doesn't send it anywhere on its own.
Deleting your data
Go to You → Settings → Delete everything to remove all TripCent data from your device and your private iCloud. Deleting the app removes local data. iCloud data can also be managed in the iOS Settings app under your Apple Account → iCloud.
Children
TripCent is suitable for all ages and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
This website
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking. It loads fonts from Google Fonts and a 3D library from jsDelivr, which may receive your IP address as part of delivering those files.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
